Poems of Lost Branches #2 Enjoy yourself kid, don’t think about it

Tales of yore and empty spaces
In a flat in the city
Parents reminiscing of childhood memories

You will never know if they actually liked it

on the way South, car packed for the summer
you come accross the awest sights
	we never went THAT South
as he did when he was younger

It had to be French. Perfect vacation for a perfect
Citizen. Enjoying cheese and wine and saucisson.
Summer filled with olive trees and caverns and lavander

Steep and dry. Running barefoot I cut myself many times.
Fishing prawn and jumping in the river.
Driving to the beach of which you’ll never see the other shore.

How else to occupy a summer?
